@@Bombiedude. I think the hotel is keeping the lift vintage on purpose because it's part of the hotel theme.

The FI MXB indicator is very rare in Australia. There’s only one lift I know that has one in Australia.

@@tjlifts4068 I'm not sure, only lift I found at the clarendon was the acre in hmv. I think they're renovating that unit at the moment.

Possibly. This lift used to be an (older) thyssen which was out of service for a while before eventually getting modded with this.
